This Privacy Policy describes how Imaginary Maze ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

a) Automatically Collected Information

• Anonymous User ID: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to generate a random identifier. No personal information (name, email, phone number) is collected.
• Game Data: Level progress, scores, rankings, and gameplay statistics are stored to provide leaderboard and game features.
• Device Information: Advertising ID (for ad personalization), device model, and OS version may be collected by third-party SDKs.

b) Information You Provide

• Nickname: An optional in-game display name (2-12 alphanumeric characters) used for leaderboards. This is not linked to any real-world identity.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide and improve game features (rankings, daily challenges, global echo)
• To display advertisements (Google AdMob)
• To process in-app purchases (Google Play Billing)
• To maintain game balance and prevent abuse

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics): Firebase Privacy
• Google AdMob (Advertising): Google Privacy Policy
• Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases): Managed by Google Play

4. Data Storage

• Local Data: Game progress, settings, and chalk drawings are stored locally on your device using Hive database.
• Cloud Data: Rankings, daily maze scores, and nicknames are stored in Google Firebase Firestore.
• Data Retention: Global Echo chalk data expires automatically after 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.

6. Your Choices

• You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
• You can purchase "Remove Ads" to disable all advertisements.
• You can delete the app to remove all locally stored data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on this page.
